Tangled Jewelry Anyone?

Did you ever wonder why people love to look through and untangle a pile of jewelry? Does it appeal to you?

Maybe it's the satisfying feeling of getting something to work or undoing something wrong, and making it right. Or maybe it is a challenge to see what piece of jewelry might untangle first right out of the big pile and what others might take a little extra work. You then get to discover those "worth the effort" types of pieces.

I noticed this seems to be a trend with jewelry, especially jewelry jars. It is somewhat of a puzzle to do this, and some people really like the entire experience of struggling with pieces. I've heard that tangled necklaces can be better managed by unclasping them first and then trying to untangle them from there; it is a trick that does work.

Does untangling jewelry do anything for you? What do you like most about it? Does untangling jewelry turn you off? Would you rather have pieces that come out clean and neat like the day they were made?

Everyone is so different; however, there is so much psychology behind such a simple, frustrating task!

Enjoy the satisfaction from the pieces that you've untangled and made free again!
