Animal Totems

Here's hoping this blog is being used for much more than what I had in mind for it. I would like this to be used by teachers, if they need it, to engage their students with writing prompts. This blog post is dedicated to that. I've put together a list of animal totems with pictures. Maybe the kids can figure out something to write about each of them.

Animal totems that we collect: these usually show up in between items at garage sales just waiting for someone to snap them up and give them a new home! What magical powers or qualities do these animals have?
