They pop up often at garage sales, but do we really use these?
The obsolete address book with all of its pages, colorful designs, and covers for us to add all of our favorite friends and contacts. This used to be a staple in the household, but now, not so much.
Address books were replaced with our laptops, phones, and other digital type address and contact devices that don't carry the art and fun that traditional address books were made of.
Next time you are at a garage sale, check by the journals, books, and notepaper. You will most likely find the nostalgic, floral address book with blank pages. Most of them would have extra paper included, so we can keep filling up the pages with new contacts and friends to our heart's content. They also often came in a little binder type of style, so you can feel like it's the school days when you add and take out the extra paper sheets.
Either we thought we'd fill these up with names or we have no friends, it is an item that has gone by the wayside for sure.
I wonder if people still use these?
